With a fleet of 50 aircraft, mostly Airbus, Aer Lingus aims to provide Ireland with a direct connection to the rest of the world at competitive prices, both by passenger and freight lines. Thanks to its partnership network with Aer Arann, Jetlue Airways and United Airlines, Aer Lingus connects Ireland and Great Britain to the United States and Canada with ease via the New York JFK, Boston and Chicago hubs.
Aer Lingus, whose name comes from the Irish Aer Loingeas meaning “air fleet”, was founded by the Irish government in 1936.
