Check-in

By booking your ticket with Air France, you can choose whether to check-in at the reception desk, where you will also deliver your hold luggage, or online from the airfrance.com website.

The Air France check-in counter opens two hours before departure, and each flight has its own counter closing time which must be checked on each ticket.

In general, the deadline beyond which check-in is no longer possible is 30-40 minutes earlier for short-haul flights depending on the departure airport, and 60 minutes for long-haul flights. While as regards the time limit to go to the boarding gate, it is 15 minutes for domestic and medium-haul flights and 20 minutes for long-haul ones.

Online check-in can be done from 30 hours before departure from the Air France website by entering your booking or e-ticket number, and your boarding pass can be shown on your smartphone or printed yourself or at the terminal. If you have checked in online, you can show up for boarding 15-20 minutes before departure
